Picture of Big Fat Spider.
My hubby got really close to this spider to take photograph, I couldn’t even watch him take the picture, the camera was almost touching the spider awww! to close for my liking.

I think this is a black wasp called a black ichneumon wasp, we saw it in Tower Gardens Skegness, it was on a stone wall in late September and seamed to be hunting as it was moving fast across the surface of the stone checking every crevice, I’m not sure though so if anyone knows for certain leave a comment below.

This Spider had made a web across the full length of or open gate, I’m just glad we have a low wall or we wouldn’t have been able to get out.

I’m not to fond of Spiders, but I have great respect for them. The patterns on this Spider are beautiful.

Look closely at this Starling image see if you can spot his little friend ![]()
Two photographs where taken of this Starling one straight after the other and on the first image that was captured the ladybird was’nt there, so the Ladybird must have flown in between the snapping of the two photos.

Photograph of Snail Shell in Sand.
I really like these little stripy snail shell and I love to spot them when I’m out. Both of these snails pictures was taken in different locations one on Skegness Beach the other beside a road in a grass verge.
When I was a child I took some of these beautiful snail shells home (I thought they where empty) and left them on my Grandad’s window Sill, when I went to collect them the next day there where little silvery slim trails all down my Grandad’s wall – OOPS

It isn’t so much the Painted Lady Butterfly that I found interesting in this photograph, but the reflection on my husbands blue van. A rough butterfly bush had grown up under my hubby’s old van. when I took the photo I was concentrating on the painted lady, so missed the real interest in the image until I uploaded it.

Picture of Harlequin Ladybird.
We went to Gibraltar Point National Nature Reserve Wonders of the Wash event in Skegness, and this rare insect visitor to the East Coast landed on my sons trousers.
We were told the Harlequin Ladybird is originally from Africa and is a predator that eats anything it sees including our native Ladybirds, but on the net there’s mixed views on this. If anyone has any information please leave a comment below, I’d love to know more

Photo of Wall Brown Butterfly.

Scientists give such boring names to the most beautiful of creatures, a wall Brown was this butterfly given it’s name because either the person who discovered it was called Brown or it was found on a wall and it has brown marking I wonder?
