I took this picture with the footsteps coming towards me, but when I got home and had a play around with it I realised it works from every direction.

This is a weird peace of photography. I was walking near the boating lake in Skegness and noticed the illuminations shining off the water

I captured this comic photo at Skegness boating lake. I couldn’t believe my luck, a male and female mallard, side by side diving for food with their bottoms in the air. Classic

I had to change the picture to black and white, the colours of the big wheel carriages were to dark, so I made the decision to change the the photograph. It’s an interesting perspective of photography, it’s such a shame there elements was against me that day, I would have loved to have had it in colour.

I really like this picture, I love the detail of the sparrows eye, normally when I capture a photograph of a bird their eyes are not clearly seen, but in this piece of photography I was lucky enough to have a inquisitive male sparrow interested in what I was doing and the sun was in the right position to highlight the birds eye.
I normally take my photographs on the fly so to speak, which means I generally don’t have a tripod or hang around for the perfect picture of my subject, this can be a bit of a hit and miss approach to photography, but in the case of this male house sparrow picture it worked out fine with even the sun being in the right place at the right time
These tracks on Skegnes Beach where made by the tractor that pulls the RNLI Life boat to the sea. I did’nt like this picture at first and rejected it, but after going though my old pictures and from more experience I can now see this picture has a lot of interest. I can’t recommend enough to any photographer going though old pictures.

This is one of my favourite photographs, even though there is an out of focus railing in the corner. This happened because I’m 5 foot nothing and the railings are 6 foot. I decided it would be a shame to discard the picture since I really like it, besides I’m a proud amateur photographer, so who cares it’s not perfect.

Was walking in my local park when I spotted this green leaf in amongst the bark mulch. I love the contrast of the viberant green against the dead undergrowth

This firework display was taken on Skegness beach. Look closely at the bottom of the firework display, you can see the silhouette of people on the beach.
