We’ve had this picture that one of our little ones took enlarged. Many of us look at the dandelions as just a weed, hopefully after viewing this picture you will feel a little different and see their inner beauty.

Photo of Black Bird with Bread.
A nice clean clear shot of a blackbird. I have found it can be hard taking photographs of animals that are either black or white with a digital camera, the images always seem to be slightly out of focus.
This is the best picture I have captured with my camera of a blackbird to date I think.

My kids were flying their kite on the day I took this picture. We stopped what we were doing just to marvel at this brilliant sky.

This is an interesting photograph. Drift wood got washed up and lodged between the rocks during a rough sea at high tide on Skegness beach, it’s been there over a year.
Quick update: it’s still lodged fast 3 years on, (I originally took the pic 2007) obviously doesn’t look as good now as it did when I first took the picture, but still, wow.

The tide had just gone out and had left these interesting pools and patterns along Skegness beach. It was pretty grey and miserable at first, but then the sun peeked though a hazy sky and I managed to snap this beach picture.
It’s one of my favourites and best IMO so far, I like it so much I’ve had it blown up and framed.

Photo of Black Bird and Duck.
Bit of a weird piece of photography this picture, but it’s really interesting.
A good clean well focused shot on the black bird with a out of focus duck in the background. The two birds almost merge and your eye doesn’t know which bird to focus on, so you find yourself looking from the black bird to the duck swapping your perspective.

We saw this star fish washed up on the beach when we where out for a walk and decided to take a unique and artistic picture with this little sea creature as the STAR attraction, pardon the pun:-)
This was actually the first time my kids had ever seen a star fish. Don’t worry we didn’t touch it or move it in anyway just wrote the words around it.

I shot two pictures of this gull gliding in the sky at Skegness, the first didn’t focus and I started to panic, luckily the second shot was spot on and I captured it just in time before it flew off.

I have to say taking photographs makes you a lot more observant of whats around you, I would have missed this single red flower in a huge flower bed of yellow and white flowers had i have not been paying attention. A brilliant find on a lovely spring day.
