Image of Black Headed Gull Squawking.

I was being blown about by the wind when I took this photograph of a Black Headed Gull at Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve and the image is slightly out of focus, but I still like it.

It’s good to be an proud armature photographer it means your not paralyzed by critical perfection, all you have to think about is how much joy photography brings you and how much fun you had taking the shot. Gives you a real sense of freedom with your photographs that professional photographers can’t afford to experience

Photo of Black Bird with Bread.

A nice clean clear shot of a blackbird. I have found it can be hard taking photographs of animals that are either black or white with a digital camera, the images always seem to be slightly out of focus.

This is the best picture I have captured with my camera of a blackbird to date I think.

Photograph of Dove in a Tree.

Took this picture of a dove in a tree one very cold morning and it looked so cute all fluffed up. I have to say even though it was cold it was nice to see the sun, we hadn’t seen a glimpse of sunlight in weeks until that morning.

Picture of Black Bird in Undergrowth.

This female black bird didn’t look well when I captured this shot. I happened to spot her at the side of a road and she didn’t move when we walked by. The female black bird allowed me to pull out my camera and take her photo while others walked passed, she fell asleep afterwards. We where just getting out of a harsh winter in Britain, I don’t know if she survived.

Bit of a weird piece of photography this picture, but it’s really interesting.

A good clean well focused shot on the black bird with a out of focus duck in the background. The two birds almost merge and your eye doesn’t know which bird to focus on, so you find yourself looking from the black bird to the duck swapping your perspective.
