None of us had ever seen one of these before. I didn’t even know they could have that many arms.

The Common Frog, Rana temporaria also known as the European Common Frog or European Common Brown Frog is found throughout much of Europe as far north as well north of the Arctic Circle in Scandinavia and as far east as the Urals, except for most of Iberia, southern Italy, and the southern Balkans.

Love this photo. It was mating season when I took this picture, and I happened to be at my local park just as they were starting to congrigate. If you look closely you will be able to see other frogs hiding under the rock with this one. I have my kids to thank for this image as they spotted the frogs before I did.

On a hot summers day in Tower Gardens in Skegness the koi and other fish in the pond come to the surface for a sunbath. I got down real low to snap this picture, if the koi hadn’t have been so close to the surface I wouldn’t have managed to take this picture since the water in the pond at Skegness Tower Gardens isn’t that healthy because the council never clean the water of debris and rotting food from folks over feeding the ducks

My husband thinks this squirrel looks as though it’s been nailed onto the tree trunk!

Picture of Grey Squirrel on a Post Image.
The Eastern Gray Squirrel (Sciurus carolinensis), or the Grey Squirrel, depending on region, is a tree squirrel native to the eastern and midwestern United States and to the southerly portions of the eastern provinces of Canada.
It has been introduced to Britain, where it’s spread across the country and has largely displaced the native Red Squirrel, Sciurus vulgaris. In Ireland, the red squirrel has been displaced in several eastern counties, though it still remains common in the south and west of the country. There are concerns that such displacement might happen in Italy as well.

I missed the the perfect picture of this grey squirrel where it was clinging onto a tree looking straight at me, took the shot but it didn’t focus. Got this photo though. The squirrel kept sticking it’s head out from behind the tree to see what I was doing.
It was hilarious
