Picture of a Jackdaw.
It’s not the picture that’s fascinating, but the story of how we got the picture. We are currently renovating our house and at the moment we are living on the ground floor, We started to hear what sounded like rubble falling above us, with this being a very old house and we had just suffered an earth quake, (which lots of people had lost there chimneys) we went to investigate, looked around didn’t see anything, had a look up the chimney (stupid I know) every thing was fine so went back down stairs. .
About 20 mins later it started to happen again had another look and found nothing. Then we started to hear what sounded like someone banging around. we live in a house which has 4 storeys which tends to make you a little paranoid so my husband went up stair with a baseball bat in hand to investigate the noise. when he opened up the door he was confronted by a very angry Jackdaw trying to get out of a closed window. After some time and lots of becks he managed to catch and then realise the Jackdaw. The bird was none the worse from his encounter, my husband though wasn’t so luck
