There was one at the door in Nottingham UK tonight (1/7/9) and it is a pale yellow swallow tailed moth. My dog accidentally trod on it a bit but I am hoping it will recover :-/
One of these in my kitchen today 10/7/09. Thanks for the help with the ident!
I found one of these on my kitchen wall this morning. At first I thought how the hell has a piece of lettuce/cabbage got up there? lol
One was in perfect camouflage on a pot with trailing Creeping Jenny in my garden.I thought at first a petal had been detached by a breeze. Beautiful. Never seen one before.
one came in my bedroom last night b4 a storm. i caught him and let him back out the window and he flew off the next morning he was landed on the window so i put on the curtain and kept the cats out.
I too called it a yellow moth – canary coloured and absolutely beautiful. Found in my garage in Bearsden 17/7/11.
One flew into my garden and settled on a shrub, by the time I had found the camera it had gone. It was very beautiful with brilliant yellow wings with black lines. 31-07-11 Weymouth

Have just found and identified yellow swallowtail moths.
They are coming through open window continually-providing much needed exercise for resident feline.
Got all 5 out before eaten. I have never seen these beautiful critters before.
We had this beautiful visitor in our hospital 14/07/19
