It’s so nice to see this mother duck with ducklings, last year she lost all her baby ducklings and suffered a severe gash to her head. (If you look closely at the picture you’ll notice she has a dent in her head).
I’m not sure what happened to this female mallard, it could have been a fox, a dog or maybe some disturbed individuals, what ever happened we’re glad to see she survived and has a new family of ducklings.
