Mallard Flapping Image

Brilliant action photograph. I was so lucky to capture this picture,I love the way in which the mallard is stood up in the water. The shot was taken just before the wings where pulled back which means I’ve captured the blur of the wings moving but not so fast you can’t see them. I’ M SO PROUD :-) . My first action shot.

      Probably the same duck if you took yours at tower gardens :)

      I wish it had been a brighter day when I took the picture. Been meaning to try to get a better shot of a duck flapping on a sunny day.

      I took this picture years ago now when I was new to photography hence the excitement in the article I’ve got so many pictures of ducks now My photo album is full of them LOL

      It’s a personal joke to the family as they scroll through my images and say ‘there’s a duck, there’s a duck and ooh look another duck’ they all think their comedians :)
