This was the best tombstone in the cemetery we visited. she’s lost part of a wing but apart from that she’s withstood the test of time. All to often these beautiful statues are destroyed by mindless vandals. I am not a religious person, but it breaks my heart when i see one that has been smashed and makes me angry when i think about the lack of respect these people have shown to someone else’s loved one :-(
