Image of Black Sheep.
I couldn’t decide which picture I prefered, so I’ve uploaded them all to my blog.
I managed to take this pictures when my husband walked passed the sheeps field singing sea shanties
and this particular black sheep was very interested, his mates wasn’t though. The rest of the sheep in the field carried on eating they was about as impressed with my hubby’s singing as I am

First time I’ve seen a coot on the boating lake, plenty of Moorhen in Skegness, don’t remember seeing any coot’s though. It’s probably just me I suspect I’m not the first person to get Coot’s and Moorhen mixed up

My hubby decided to out do me with this picture, if you’ve read my introduction page then you’ll know we have photography competitions to see who can take the best photograph.
On this occasion I had spotted an interesting tree unfortunately my husband had also spotted it, so a mad tussle ensued, I managed to get the camera first and took a picture you can see it on this blog entitled Big Tree, he then grabbed the camera from me took two steps to the right and took this stunner.
I was envious to say the least!

This cormorant is causing quite a stir in Skegness, it was featured in our local paper (The Skegness Standard). A resident had seen it at the boating lake and didn’t know what it was, so I went to see if I could capture a photograph or two of this mysterious water bird. My hubby identified it as a cormorant, though not sure which type.

First visit to the Skegness boating lake and I didn’t spot the cormorant, but a few days later I went for a relaxing walk with my youngest son and we saw it standing on a rocky island in the middle of the lake
Picture of Feather On Plant.
I took this photograph in an hedge row at Tower Gardens in Skegness.
We think it’s either a Wood Pidgeon feather or a Dove feather since the park has a lot of Doves.

Image of Moon on Halloween.
Took this photo on a foggy Halloween night, I wasn’t taking a picture of the moon I was trying to see if I could capture a photograph of the birds nesting in the tree over head and got this weird image.
My batteries ran out that night and I missed the perfect opportunity to take a picture of a frog peeping it’s head out of a storm drain

The rape seed field looks stunning against the dark green foliage and the dark grey sky before a storm. Normally you get so used to seeing rape seed in summer you don’t look twice at it, but the colours were so intense I had to pull over and snap a shot, with the sun behind me illuminating the yellow field, I just couldn’t let the opportunity pass me by.

I am so excited that I captured this photograph of these young starlings. I didn’t see the image until I got home, It reminded me of a military formation
I was snapping random shots at Skegness boating lake, hundreds of young starling had flocked in amongst the bushes at the top of the stone archway so I climbed on top of the archway and captured this photo, my only regret is I wish I had been zoomed out at bit more.
