I was upset when I first took this picture, I couldn’t get a clear shot of the Gold Finch, it was to high up in the tree, but when I saw the shot I had got I realised it was an interesting photograph.
I like the way the sun caught the branch the camera focused on and that the Gold Finch in the back ground is eating seed pods high up in the tree. Makes you look deeper at the image.

Our son took these two pictures, he likes to take photographs close up. I don’t know the exact name for this type of photography, but I call it concentrated photography since it is a sharp focus of an item in detail in front of you.
Our son’s really good at this type of photography.

We’ve had a really cold winter this year and it as made birds that you don’t normally see in town centers appear looking for food.
I haven’t seen a Redwing in years, so I was excited to get this shot. My son spotted it first with his keen eyesight.

The day before I took this picture I was out for a late walk with my Hubby and we saw a cluster of about 8 Redwing’s on a football pitch, but it was to dark to fully Identify them, SO the following day I went out and was lucky enough to snap a great picture.
This Image my son snapped of the center segment of a winter bush.

This picture I took is a bit on the dark side. I took it when the light was fading I like the way the Blue tits chest has been high lighted by the setting sun, but I still would have preferred a better lighter shot.

I must have walked past these wild flowers 100’s of times and I never noticed that they have little red centers. Thats what I love about photography it makes you notice small details that no one else sees.
