Seagulls capture on camera in snow looks like the picture was shot in a studio, but it was just at my local park

WOW I’m so happy
this seagull picture is stunning it looks like it was taken in a studio. I was going to photo shop everything out of this picture so that just the two main seagulls where in the image until my husband convinced me to leave it as it is, He said all of the photographs imperfections is what makes this picture interesting and taking them away would make it bland for the sake of vanity.

My husband is 100% right I don’t know why I would consider altering a photograph? I hate photographers who photo shop must have been a momentary laps of judgment.
Doing small tweaks like altering the white balance with photo shop is OK, but adding and taking away images within a picture is just wrong.
We were lucky enough when the winter weather was at it’s harshest to have a Pied Wagtail come onto our garden to foraging for food right outside my living room full glass door.

The Autumn leaves had accumulated in one area of the pond in Tower Gardens in Skegness and it looked interesting, but when I took the image it was missing that atmosphere and didn’t come out looking as good as the scene did with the naked eye, SHAME

Love this picture definitely a personal favourite. One of the main pieces of advise photographer give is to have your main subject of your image to the left or right instead of smack bang in the middle and I couldn’t agree more this picture would have been boring if I had concentrated on the dove alone and not thought about the scene as a whole.

My son and I made this cool snowman on our front garden, the picture came out and looks very glamourous and has the feel of a photograph you might see in a magazine :- ).

Great photo! I love how the starlings tail feathers are fanned out and the feathers on it’s head are sticking up. The whole photograph has plenty of interest the contrast of colour between the piercing blue sky and the green and purple sheen of the starlings feathers, as well as the wonderful twisting branches of the tree all come together beautifully in this picture and best of all the cheeky character of a starling shines though
